The team at DHP understands the dynamics of the continuation of the employment of physicians and other providers, and its effect on real estate decisions to be considered by a health system.  For some clients, the extent of  employed physicians causes the majority of a new medical building to be occupied mostly or entirely by the hospital.  Whereas, historically the new MOB may have been occupied by majority private practice physicians. This shift is forcing some hospitals to consider ownership by the health system itself vs by an outside party.  

For those systems looking to own their real estate, after evaluating all alternatives and options, DHP provides an array of Owner's Representation Services, or Development Management. These services may be very similar to turn key third party development and ownership services, except that ownership will be maintained by the client.  DHP provides full turn key services to bring the project to reality, while acting as the owner's "eyes and ears" and coordinating and/or performing all activities.
